Harlem Globetrotters Jersey
1983
Team without a town
Since 1927, the Globetrotters have dazzled crowds with their spectacular ball-handling skills and their humorous antics. Lacking a hometown, they began touring the United States to popularize their entertaining brand of basketball--often against opposing teams that function as the straight man in a comedy routine. Famous Globetrotters have included Reece "Goose" Tatum, "Meadowlark" Lemon, and Wilt "the Stilt" Chamberlain.
