America's "First Lady of Song" live from the Savoy Ballroom
This phonograph record may well be the only surviving recording of a live broadcast of jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald's short-lived radio program. The program ran on NBC radio from New York's Savoy Ballroom in the 1940s.
