Ray McKinley
1940s

Drummer, singer, bandleader--husband, father, family man
McKinley performed with Jimmy Dorsey and Glenn Miller during the 1940s. After Miller's death, he took over leadership of the Miller Orchestra. As this picture suggests, however, McKinley saw himself as a man devoted to family as well as music.
