Herman Leonard's "Images of Jazz"
Light. Shadow. Swirling cigarette smoke. These elements of Herman Leonard's photography helped define the "look" of American and European jazz for the last 50 years. Leonard is best known for his photographs of jazz musicians. He staged the first exhibition of his work in London, England, in 1988. He called it "Images of Jazz."
